David Perim, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Perim specializes in both conservative and operative spine treatment. When surgical treatment is necessary his focus is on minimally invasive treatments. Dr. Perim treats degenerative conditions such as spinal stenosis, disc herniations, trauma ,and tumors. He also evaluates pediatric spine patients for scoliosis and stress fractures in the lower back, which are more common with increasing participation in athletics. He treats spinal compression fractures with conservative care or if necessary a special procedure called a kyphoplasty. This is a minimally invasive procedure that can minimize pain after a compression fracture.

Dr. Perim is actively involved in teaching other spine surgeons minimally invasive surgical techniques and pearls.

Derek Kram, MD, FAAOS

During Dr. Kram’s Fellowship, he acted as Assistant Team Doctor for the National Basketball Association’s Orlando Magic.

He has published articles and presented scientific exhibits in General Orthopaedics and the surgical treatment of arthritis. He has also co-authored a textbook on the rehabilitation and treatment of fractures.

He has volunteered his time coaching his children’s sports teams, has a black belt in karate, competes in two softball leagues, and enjoys skiing, golf and fitness activities.

Dr. Evans is a board-certified joint replacement specialist. He specializes in joint replacement and joint preservation surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He is adept in minimally invasive, muscle sparing anterior hip replacement to promote faster recovery incorporating the latest technology in the form of robotics, computer navigation, and patient specific instruments to ensure improved accuracy and results. He also specializes in Sports Medicine and the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee injuries.
